AV Coordinator, Help Desk
Advanced AV in West Chester, PA is searching for an Audiovisual Coordinator, Help Desk for our client site in Southeastern, PA. Qualified candidates must be team players with great interpersonal skills and an ability to work in high stress situations. This position involves an extensive knowledge of Tandberg Videoconferencing equipment.
Advanced AV designs, engineers, fabricates and installs collaborative meeting environments for the nation’s leading FORTUNE 1000 corporations and premier educational institutions. We represent the industry’s premier audio visual products from world-class manufacturers. Our award-winning, industry-certified sales staff has extensive audio visual and information technology experience. We have the ability to design and install presentation solutions that best meet all of our client’s networking presentation needs. Our Service Department maintains the equipment for our clients as well as provides onsite Staffing Needs.
The AV Coordinator, Help Desk will provide the highest level of technical skill for our clients. Responsibilities include:
- Provide high quality 1st level customer support via phone/email/ticketing systems
- Manage audiovisual and videoconference on-site support scheduling using MS Outlook and ticketing system
- Utilize ticketing system to create tickets and track issues that arise; coordinate with other team to redirect tickets
- Provide first level technical support and escalate the issue to senior team members where appropriate
- Work with IT technicians to remotely test the videoconferencing equipment and connectivity from various global locations
- Work with external vendors to remotely test the videoconferencing from various global locations
- Giving excellent customer service and having a professional attitude
- Timely submission of all required paperwork
- Other duties as deemed necessary by management
- Work to achieve 100% customer satisfaction 100% of the time
- Full compliance with company’s policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess a strong work ethics and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to think strategically to resolve issues that arise
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be willing to learn new skills and keep current with rapidly changing technology
Knowledge of Tandberg videoconferencing systems and working with ticketing software a plus!

Service Coordinator
Advanced AV in West Chester, PA is searching for a Service Coordinator for our dynamic Service Department. Qualified candidates must be team players with great interpersonal skills and an ability to work in high stress situations.
The Service Coordinator is located onsite at our office in West Chester, PA and shall be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Act as primary client contact for Service Department issues
- Phone support for Service Calls
- Enter Service Contracts in the system
- Coordinate work flow and schedule Service Technician visits
- Organize and maintain Service Agreements
- Identify sales opportunities
- Help maintain the Service Vendor file for procedures on returns and repairs
- Create, maintain, and close tickets in regards to Service related issues
- Ability to read CAD drawings a plus
Education and/or Experience
Prefer an Associate’s Degree and at least three years of commercial audiovisual experience.

Field Installer
Advanced AV in West Chester, PA is searching for an experienced Audiovisual Field Installer. Candidates must be team players with great interpersonal skills.
Installers are responsible for installing AV and multimedia systems.

Requirements
Must have good communications skills, PC skills, a positive attitude, ability to lift 50 lbs., a clean driving record and Audio Visual experience.

Drafter
Advanced AV in West Chester, PA is searching for a Full-Time Drafter to join our dynamic team. Qualified candidates must be team players with great interpersonal skills and an ability to work in high stress situations.
Drafter shall be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Generate floor plans, device plans, sections and elevations
- Data and control including but not limited to cut sheets, drawings, filing, drawing issues
- Complete “as built” drawings from “mark ups”
- Assist AutoCAD database formation project
- Assist in management of AutoCAD database
- Generate architectural site drawings
- Generate flow drawings from designers hand written drawings
- Perform site visits as needed
- Provide periodic reports as necessary
- Responsible for timely and accurate submission of all drawings
Education and/or Experience
Prefer an Associate’s Degree with the ability to use Autocad 2010 and 2011. A minimum of two years of commercial audiovisual technical experience or the equivalent are required.
